F2 see photography as an ideal medium to nurture, release, maximise and develop creative skills within young people. Photography has many attributes and disciplines which work across the curriculum. Its immediacy makes it an ideal medium for exploration through both traditional film and contemporary digital practices. Through a series of workshops F2 wish to introduce photography in its many forms and applications to as wider audience as possible. A key element of F2 is to recognise and reference the strategies outlined by the Governments Every Child Matters and Youth Matters initiatives.
